What is a Digital Signature Certificate
A Digital Signature Certificate is an electronic signature. It is used to verify the user’s identity and to collect his/her consent while submitting digital forms or documents. In this digital era, people are crazy to get things done instantly. Digital Signature facilitates the form signing and submission process instantly. So the legal process becomes quicker and completed fast.
Video Verification For Digital Signature Approval
Video verification is one process that needs to be followed before issuing a Digital Signature to an applicant. It is a regulatory need that must be followed. It ensures the applicant is aware of his DSC being issued. He/she can not deny later that the DSC is issued without his knowledge.
Digital Signature Without Video Verification
Apart from video verification, there are other methods too available to record applicants’ consent. Thanks to Aadhaar verification which made this technology is successful. There are many instances when a person can not record his video in his/her voice. So we use a proxy, by using Aadhaar Verification. So it bypasses the video verification requirement.
The process is completed in appx 1 working day. The applicant needs to cooperate in his/her Aadhaar verification process. Needs to send documents on time to get things done.
Only Individual Applicants can apply for this DSC. Organisation DSC is not possible with this verification method. Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate without video verification will be issued. Applicant must have own PC/Laptop with Windows OS.
Validity of Digital Certificate
We can issue 2 Year & 3 Year valid DSC. USB Token is purely optional to order. If the applicant has an old token in working condition, it can be used to download the DSC.
