DGFT Digital Signature Certificate

DGFT Digital Signature Certificate is a special DSC for IEC code holders. The DGFT web portal accepts only DGFT DSC for official use. While applying for it, ensure the applicant has a valid(Or expired) IEC(import-export code). Check the image below to understand different DSC types and their usage.

DGFT DSC Ordering Process

To apply for DGFT DSC, fill out the application form and select the organisation type. Choose Validity years & the DSC token is required or not. Fill in the applicant and organisation’s basic details like name, email ID, etc. Click on the ‘Add To Cart’ button & proceed to Checkout. Update your name and address details on the checkout page. Review all data once and complete the online payment. We send USB Tokens by courier or speed post as you choose during checkout. The verification and approval process is given below.

DGFT DSC Paperless Verification Process:

Paperless verification is the easiest process to get a DGFT digital signature. After order placement, we generate a unique application link and send it to your email address. You need to complete verification by filling out the form and uploading the required documents as listed below. You also need to record a short video which includes reading a prescribed script and displaying original documents uploaded in the verification process. DGFT DSC gets approved within 30 minutes, subject to the correct submission of the application form.

DGFT Digital Signature uses:

It is a specific purpose-based digital signature designed for the DGFT website. The DGFT website exclusively asks for the DGFT DSC for import-export transactions. While applying for it, ensure the applicant has IEC(import-export code) documents ready. Even if your IEC validity is no longer valid, we can process your DGFT DSC application.

Renewal orders and without tokens, DSC orders receive download credentials in their mobile number by SMS. Therefore, during the renewal process, you can avoid ordering new DSC tokens. But sometimes the Indian Government make some changes. In that case, everyone has to buy a new token.
